Some of the world’s leading companies like Apple, Google and Facebook have adopted a new approach to problem solving called Design Thinking. Yesterday, it was the turn of over 40 social enterprises across Donegal to receive training in Design Thinking delivered by DLDC & Inishowen Development Partnership as part of the Social Enterprise Support Initiative (SESI). In collaboration with Letterkenny Institute of Technology, we used a real-world example of a social enterprise in Donegal to explore customer empathy, creative thinking, prototyping and evaluation. The workshop was a great success, particularly given that Design Thinking workshops usually take place in person over a number days!
