Treasa Ní Ghallachóir joined the board of DLDC as a community representative for An Ghaeltacht region in 2024. Treasa is a dedicated leader and volunteer with Club Óige Cnoc Fola, where she has been actively involved for 25 years. She has served on the board of the North West Language Planning Group since 2016. She is the chairperson of the Coiste Forbartha Cnoc Fola, currently overseeing the development of an all-weather outdoor walking trail around Lough Inbhir. Treasa also leads the Údarás na Gaeltachta 2021 evaluation committee and is a member of the Gaoth Dobhair Credit Union Board, a position she filled in 2024.
