Mary Harte

Mary Harte joined the Board of Directors in 2021 and represents Donegal East. Mary is a journalist and broadcaster with an academic background in politics and history (BA) and a Masters in Landscape Archaeology. Mary worked with BBC Northern Ireland for almost 30 years covering the ‘Troubles’ and the transition through to the Peace Process. Mary currently reports and produce magazine features for television, documentaries and corporate videos.  She regularly address historical, archaeological and heritage conferences. Mary is the Chairperson of Donegal East Tourism and Chair of Raphoe Community In Action.
