Debbie Nesbitt

Debbie Nesbitt joined the board of DLDC in 2023.

She has over 20 years’ experience in sustainability, environmental management, resource efficiency, circular economy, and climate action. Debbie is a key member of WRAP’s Policy and Insights team, providing policy support to government agencies.

A passionate advocate for women in the resources and waste sector, Debbie is an active member of the Women in Sustainability network. Since 2006, she has served as an independent adjudicator for the TidyTowns competition, working closely with community groups across Ireland to promote environmental enhancements. She also contributes locally as a committee member of the Newtowncunningham Focus Group.
