Benny Trearty

A Termon man born and bred, Benny joined the board in 2018. He has a huge interest in the improvement of his local community, is proficient in the restoration of old stone buildings and has been chairman of Donegal Community Network since 2014. Benny has many years of experience working in the agricultural sector as a full-time farmer and is Chairman and Treasurer of United Farmers Association. Benny has been an active member of his local GAA club Termon for many years. He is currently Vice President of the club and has played with the team himself in the past. He has also spent time refereeing for Donegal and achieved an award for being the Donegal Referee of the year in 2013.
