Community Health Sync Project (CoH-Sync Project)
Do you want to improve your health and wellbeing?
DLDC’s Community Health Sync Project offers FREE support to individuals and communities who want to improve their overall health and well-being.
About the Programme
The CoH-Sync project supports you on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting under five areas:
DLDCs health project, CoH-Sync, have a team of Health Facilitators across the county who are more than happy to provide a listening ear to anyone who needs it. There are many novel initiatives being started in our communities and we can link you up with what’s available.
We can discuss nutrition, physical activity, mental health, smoking or alcohol. CoH-Sync is a project supported by the European Union’s NTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body.
The project lead, Siobhan Coyle, explained: ‘’At this time people may not want to change any lifestyle habits and that’s ok. We are here to support in any way we can. We are very mindful of staff working on the front line and those in the community and voluntary sector supporting the most vulnerable. No matter who you are and what you do, this is a time when having someone to connect with is important.
Parents trying to support children with schoolwork while juggling work from home. People living alone that can’t get out to do their usual routines. We are here to support all. So if we can support you, while you support others, by providing a listening ear, a place to vent frustrations or talk things through. We are here to listen!’’
We can speak over the phone or via online platforms like Zoom or Facebook messenger.
If you would like to get in touch and have a confidential chat with one of our team members please text/What’s App/call Siobhan Coyle on 087 360 1503 or Paul Friel on 087 2328634.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we will be sharing advice and tips over the coming weeks.
