Donegal Local Development CLG will be taking part in a number of upcoming housing information sessions being held across Donegal over the coming weeks.
Donegal County Council has organised the events as an opportunity for members of the public to get information and advice on various funding and grant schemes, such as the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant Scheme, Housing Aid for Older People Grant, Housing Adaptation Grant for Disabled People, Mobility Aids Grant, Local Authority Home Loans, Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme and the Septic Tank Grant Scheme.
Council staff will be in attendance to help with questions arising and to share details about other available supports. In addition, local banks and credit unions have been invited to highlight the financial supports they provide while the North West Energy Agency will discuss home energy upgrade options from the SEAI, and Facilitators from Donegal Local Development Company and Inishowen Development Partnership will share information on support available in relation to the Defective Concrete Block Grant Scheme.
DLDC has two community facilitators to support, and guide affected homeowners through the Defective Concrete Block Grant Scheme application process.
