Community Employment is an employment programme which helps long-term unemployed people to re-enter the workforce and to enhance and develop their skills. It offers participants part-time and temporary placements in jobs based within local communities.
The Community Employment Childcare Scheme is funded by the Department of Social Protection. The Scheme currently operates in a total of 25 different childcare settings in 22 different towns/villages around the county. We have Childcare Assistant vacancies in several locations listed below.
