Many communities in Donegal are responding to the recent crisis by developing local solutions, adopting a supportive and inclusive approach to ensure that we all come through this difficult time.

If your community would like to set up or get additional supports DLDC would like to assist you.
Donegal Volunteer Centre – has a bank of volunteers registering with us from across the County who are keen to get involved in supporting these vulnerable individuals. These volunteers need tasks and as such we are asking community groups to let us know what is happening in your community and what supports are needed with regard to additional volunteers, volunteer role descriptions, volunteer safeguarding, and service promotion.
Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC) – Are keen to support groups evolving or emerging in this time of crisis, we can give guidance on group structures, “How-To” guides for community responses and general support and advice to those addressing the needs on the ground within our communities.
